The Madison Chautauqua of the Arts will have a new feature for its annual show, September 29-30, 2018. Several artisans will demonstrate their arts and crafts in booths set up on the south lawn of the Lanier Mansion in downtown Madison, Indiana. Their works also will be available for sale.

Alice Jane Smith, Birdsong Book Arts, will demonstrate how to make books, from start to finish. She will make various kinds of books, focusing on different styles of bindings. Her books, silk and cotton scarves, batik wall hangings and pillows will be for sale.
